Job description

About MacStadium
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, MacStadium is the leading provider of private Mac cloud infrastructure, purpose-built for the Apple ecosystem. Our mission is to deliver cloud solutions that simplify Mac for business. We give enterprises, software teams, and independent developers dedicated access to genuine Apple hardware, without the overhead of procuring, racking, or managing it themselves, so they can build, test, and ship Apple platform software faster and more securely.
Our product portfolio spans macOS virtualization and orchestration (Orka), private Mac cloud and bare-metal compute, Mac Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI, including Citrix-based remote desktop access) for distributed teams, and dedicated Apple Silicon infrastructure for AI and machine learning workloads. We're trusted by organizations ranging from fast-growing startups to household names, and leading financial institutions, who rely on MacStadium to power their iOS, macOS, and cross-platform development pipelines at scale.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Product Manager to own and optimize the entire MacStadium user journey, ensuring customers easily discover the value of our Mac ecosystem, mobile development, and emerging technology solutions from first engagement through long-term retention. You'll focus on reducing churn, improving signup-to-meeting-to-purchase conversion, and strengthening the overall product experience by working cross-functionally with product domain experts, marketing, sales, and technical support and customer success.
As part of both product experience and growth, you'll seed and shape innovation initiatives in areas such as AI, clustering, and automation. You'll also take ownership of where MacStadium focuses its product design projects, ensuring high impact, consistency, and usability across the platform, including the experiences our Orka, Mac VDI/Citrix, and mobile development customers rely on every day.

What you will be doing

Product Experience:
  • Map and optimize the buyer and user journey, from first awareness to adoption, purchase, and retention, across MacStadium's Mac ecosystem and mobile development products.
  • Identify friction points in product discovery and usability, ensuring customers can quickly see how MacStadium's Mac infrastructure, virtualization, and mobile CI/CD offerings solve their needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop a strategic framework for product design that supports seamless continuity throughout the customer lifecycle.
Growth and Retention:
  • Work across departments to understand, analyze, and address the drivers of churn, and implement retention-focused improvements.
  • Lead an effort to improve signup-to-first-meeting and lead-to-purchase conversion rates, collaborating with marketing and sales on onboarding, messaging, and trial experiences for prospective Mac infrastructure and mobile development customers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and expansion across MacStadium's product portfolio.
Customer & Market Discovery:
  • Run continuous customer and market discovery to surface unmet needs and underserved workflows across the use of Apple in an enterprise environment, including customer interviews, win/loss reviews, and deciphering signals from sales and support.
  • Build the business case for new products, including problem definition, market sizing, pricing and packaging hypotheses, and success metrics, and bring it to leadership for a build, buy, or partner decision.
Cross-Product Collaboration & Innovation:
  • Act as a strategic partner to domain product managers, including Orka and Remote Desktop/Citrix, to ensure a cohesive product experience across MacStadium's Mac ecosystem.
  • Develop a strategy for, and foster project kickoffs in, innovation areas such as AI, clustering, and automation, seeding ideas and setting vision while allowing autonomous teams to execute.
  • Track emerging Apple Silicon, AI, and automation capabilities, including on-device inference and Neural Engine-accelerated workloads, and translate them into growth and product experience opportunities for enterprise and mobile development customers.
  • Partner with engineering and design leadership on where to focus product design investment, balancing high-impact projects with consistency and usability across MacStadium's platform.

What You'll Bring
Required:

  • 6 or more years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools, ideally spanning growth, lifecycle, or platform experience work.
  • Demonstrated experience mapping and optimizing a multi-step customer journey, and using data to identify and close friction points in discovery, conversion, or retention.
  • Experience partnering with marketing, sales, and customer success/support to reduce churn and improve signup-to-purchase conversion.
  • Comfort setting direction for product design priorities and balancing consistency and usability across a multi-product platform.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to align domain product managers, engineering, and go-to-market teams around a shared roadmap.
  • Comfort working with data: defining metrics, interpreting funnel and cohort analytics, and using them to make prioritization calls.
  • Experience running customer and market discovery, including interviews and win/loss reviews, and building business cases for new products, including market sizing, pricing and packaging hypotheses, and success metrics, to support build, buy, or partner recommendations.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with the Apple developer ecosystem (Xcode, iOS/macOS release cycles, App Store requirements) or mobile app development and CI/CD workflows, given MacStadium's core mobile and Apple developer customer base.
  • Experience with virtualization, containerization, or Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms such as Orka.
  • Experience seeding early-stage innovation initiatives in AI, clustering, or automation, and setting vision for autonomous teams to execute.
  • Background in product-led growth, onboarding, or trial and self-serve conversion optimization.
  • Experience supporting enterprise, regulated, or security-conscious customers (finance, healthcare, government).

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary, comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) match, generous PTO, remote-first culture, and access and training on leading edge AI tools.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $135,000 annually.
