Executive Sales Officer | Equipment Finance | Remote
Altius Search Group is recruiting for a client seeking an experienced Executive Sales Officer to join its Equipment Finance platform. This is a high-impact sales role for a motivated originator with a strong track record of developing new business, building client relationships, and structuring equipment finance solutions for middle market companies.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a solid background in equipment finance sales, strong credit fundamentals, and the ability to drive direct originations across industries such as construction, manufacturing, distribution, and services.
Position Overview
The Executive Sales Officer will be responsible for sourcing and developing new client relationships, structuring transactions, and partnering with internal teams to deliver tailored financing solutions. This individual will play a key role in expanding market presence, building a strong pipeline, and achieving production goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through direct calling efforts, networking, and referral generation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with middle-market clients and centers of influence
  • Develop internal partnerships to uncover financing opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Originate equipment finance transactions across a variety of industries and asset classes
  • Evaluate transaction opportunities, including client financial position, structure, and overall fit
  • Partner closely with credit, documentation, and operations teams to ensure a high level of service and sound risk management
  • Manage and grow an active pipeline to meet or exceed annual production and portfolio growth goals
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitive dynamics, and changes in client credit quality
  • Resolve issues related to transactions, client service, and deal execution in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate independently while representing the organization effectively in the marketplace

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in equipment finance or a similar commercial finance environment
  • Verifiable production history in equipment finance originations
  • Strong understanding of equipment finance products, pricing, and transaction structures
  • Foundational knowledge of credit, financial statements, and transaction risk assessment
  • Proven ability to build a pipeline through cold calling, referrals, networking, and relationship development
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with SuperTRUMP, TValue, CRM platforms, or related tools is a plus
