Summary:

As an integral part of the Huntington Private Client Group, the PCG Loan Portfolio Manager - Senior develops and maintains profitable commercial loan relationships to businesses and individuals in PFG within lending limits (larger loans go through commercial lending) including loan renewals.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying needs, developing fundamental loan recommendations (including cross-sales), negotiating loan terms, approving/coordinating approval of loans, portfolio risk monitoring, and researching basic business issues.  
  • Ability to spread and underwrite business and personal tax returns
  • Administers PFG loan portfolio which includes following up on financial statements, exceptions, past due loans, changes in borrower's financial condition, and loan reporting.  
  • Administers portfolio in compliance with Credit Policy including timely recognition for watch list, non-accrual, and charge-offs.  
  • Works closely with PFG Relationship Managers and other team members to satisfy customer's consumer and commercial loan needs including active participation in all sales of PFG loan products.
  • Works with loans of moderate to high complexity.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:    

  • At least 5 years of Commercial Loan or Private Banking underwriting and Portfolio Management experience  
  • Bachelor's degree or an additional 2 years of Commercial Loan or Private Banking underwriting and Portfolio Management experience  

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Consumer Lending experience preferred  
  • Personal Tax Cash Flow analysis training and experience  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Well organized with attention to detail  Ability to multitask  
  • MS Suite proficient and Internet proficiency
