Cozy Nest Wellness Center is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. • Conduct comprehensive mental health diagnostic assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and treatment requirements.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific therapeutic goals, while monitoring progress through ongoing documentation and regular treatment reviews.
• Evaluate the efficacy of therapeutic interventions and adapt strategies as necessary to enhance outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Provide empathetic support and expert guidance to clients dealing with mental health challenges, helping them navigate difficult issues related to identity, relationships, and personal growth.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with fellow therapists and staff to strengthen the Center’s mission of responding to community mental health needs and optimizing client care.
• Utilize innovative techniques and creative approaches in therapy sessions to motivate clients toward achieving and surpassing their personal objectives.
• Regularly participate in supervision sessions aimed at enhancing your skills and cultural competence, thereby improving treatment effectiveness.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent is essential.
• A minimum of three years of direct experience in providing mental health therapy, demonstrating a strong ability to handle diverse client situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for effective interaction with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries while fostering a therapeutic relationship with clients.

Experience in various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, or other evidence-based practices is highly valued. An understanding of community resources and the ability to engage with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
