Manhattan Behavioral Health is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote outpatient services team in Lowell, Massachusetts. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to determine mental health diagnoses, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week to ensure consistent service delivery while upholding the highest standards of care.
  • Document all clinical interactions accurately and in a timely manner, including ongoing assessments, treatment plan updates, and case notes in accordance with company policy.
  • Employ creative interventions and therapeutic techniques to help clients meet and exceed their personal goals, and adapt methods based on client feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively with case managers, family members, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for your clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending clinical staff meetings, trainings, and contributing to the thriving team culture.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your therapy practice will focus on a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and families facing various challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from different backgrounds, including but not limited to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ populations. This role recognizes the importance of cultural sensitivity in providing effective therapeutic support.

Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Candidates must possess an active LMFT PA clinical license.
  • Proven experience in completing clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and case notes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and the wider healthcare team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and submit documentation promptly.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining professional boundaries within therapeutic relationships.
Preferred Experience
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse range of clients, addressing varying needs and backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; experience with Valant is a plus.
  • Ability to pass a background check as required for clinical practice.
