They collaborate with clients and teams virtually to develop visual, written, or multimedia content. Remote Creatives use digital tools to communicate, share files, and manage projects, making them flexible and adaptable to a variety of industries. Their work often requires strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines independently.

UX or graphic design roles may require a background in fine arts or graphic art and relevant experience. These abilities are crucial for producing high-quality creative work, meeting deadlines, and maintaining effective collaboration despite physical distance.

How do remote creatives typically collaborate with team members despite working from different locations?

Remote Creatives commonly collaborate using a variety of digital tools such as project management platforms, shared cloud drives, and video conferencing software. Teams often schedule regular virtual check-ins to brainstorm, share updates, and review creative assets in real time. While working remotely can pose challenges in communication and feedback, clear expectations, organized workflows, and open channels greatly enhance collaboration and ensure projects stay on track. Building strong relationships with team members through proactive communication is key to succeeding in this role.

Job description

Put your strong foundation in visual design, digital, and design systems to the test.

RUN Studios, and its client partner, are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer – Digital Production for a 10-month project.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Creative, Product, and Product Marketing teams to transform concepts into polished digital experiences and assets across a variety of channels and touchpoints across internally owned and operated channels, social, web and product.

Your expertise in Figma will be essential in creating scalable assets, maintaining design quality, and ensuring seamless handoff across creative and marketing teams. This role is ideal for someone who loves craft, thrives in execution, and enjoys bringing ideas to life through meticulous design and production excellence. Building on responsibilities common to digital advertising and production design roles, this version emphasizes asset production, design systems, file management, and quality control rather than motion or video.

As a Designer – Digital Production, You Will

Design & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with creative directors, designers, product marketers, and external agencies to develop high-quality digital assets that support campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.
  • Translate creative concepts into polished production-ready designs across digital channels and formats.
  • Ensure all work aligns with brand standards, design systems, and accessibility requirements.
  • Participate in brainstorming, creative reviews, and design critiques to refine ideas and elevate execution.

Digital Asset Production

  • Design and produce digital assets including web graphics, social content, presentation visuals, email graphics, landing page components, banners, and marketing materials.
  • Create scalable layouts, component-based systems, and reusable templates that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain design libraries, production toolkits, and asset repositories to support team workflows.
  • Adapt and localize creative assets across formats, channels, audiences, and regional requirements.
  • Design for a broad range of customer touchpoints including:
    • Websites and landing pages
    • Social media campaigns
    • Digital advertising and banner systems
    • Product marketing experiences
    • Email and lifecycle marketing
    • Executive and event presentations

Figma Systems & Workflow Management

  • Build, organize, and maintain complex Figma files, component libraries, and design systems.
  • Prepare files for handoff by ensuring proper structure, naming conventions, documentation, and asset organization.
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to iterate layouts, interactions, and visual refinements.
  • Establish and maintain production standards that enable efficient collaboration across teams.

Quality Control

  • Review designs for accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and brand alignment.
  • Conduct production reviews to ensure files are properly organized, layered, versioned, and export-ready.
  • Validate specifications, resolutions, formatting, and deliverables before final release.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production workflows, design systems, and asset quality.

In This Role, You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design, UX Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital design, production design, advertising design, or related creative roles.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, design systems, auto layout, and production workflows.
  • Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience creating production-ready assets for digital channels including web, social, email, and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility, responsive design principles, and digital platform requirements.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and file management practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
