About the Role & Program

Working at ESPN means helping shape how sports fans experience the biggest moments in sports across every platform. From breaking news and live events to studio shows and original storytelling, ESPN reaches millions of fans each day through social media, television, streaming, and digital platforms.

We are looking for candidates to join one or more of our exciting social teams, supporting ESPN NEXT Show Social, ESPN Social Media or the ESPN YouTube team! Each role offers handson experience creating content for millions of fans across ESPN's digital platforms.

The approximate dates for this remote internship are September - December 2026.

What You Will Do

  • Plan, create, and optimize content across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, and ESPNowned platforms

  • Support social coverage of ESPN shows by identifying key moments and producing platformspecific content

  • Clip, edit, and design shortform videos and graphics using industrystandard tools

  • Write engaging social copy including captions, headlines, and content packaging

  • Monitor trends and sports storylines to surface timely, relevant content opportunities

  • Apply editorial judgment and ESPN's voice while collaborating with production, editorial, and social teams

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest in social, sports, or digital media through coursework, campus involvement, personal projects, or prior experience

  • Strong understanding of major social platforms and how content performs across each

  • Solid sports knowledge across athletes, teams, leagues, events, and trending storylines

  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to craft platformappropriate content

  • Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail grounded in accuracy and responsible publishing

  • Basic experience with video editing or content creation tools and the ability to collaborate in a fastpaced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating or managing social content for platforms, student groups, personal channels, or media outlets

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • This internship is a remote position and requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace

  • Availableto workdifferent shiftsincluding nights and weekends,for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

The pay rate for this remote role is $22.50 per hour.
