Job Description Summary

The OWP Youth Summer Camp Leader will collaborate with the OWP Youth Camp Coordinator and other Youth Camp leaders in promoting and organizing the OWP Youth Writing Camp. Co-lead one section of the Youth Writing Camp.

Job Description

Duties will include:

  • Collaborating with the Youth Coordinator to promote, plan, structure, assist in, and organize the Youth Writing Camp.

  • Co-leading the OWP Youth writing camp writing workshops for young writers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Successful applicants will have the following attributes:

  • K-12 Teaching License

  • OWP workshop experience

Consideration will be given to applicants with enthusiasm for teaching and writing; strong writing skills; desire to find innovative ways to promote writing among youth writers; capacity to work both collaboratively and independently.
