Job description

Imagine standing at the top of the Empire State Building, taking in the breathtaking view. From the online booking to the seamless entry, every part of your ticketing experience was designed and supported by Ventrata. An industry-leading SaaS platform that helps attractions, tours, sightseeing activities and now resorts to create memorable experiences.
Backed by a passionate team, headquartered in London and with offices in Brno, Lisbon, and remote teams worldwide, we're expanding rapidly across multiple markets and verticals. Our mission is to help businesses of all sizes scale and grow while preserving their unique identity and spirit.
Be a part of something extraordinary, where your ideas and contributions truly matter. Let's shape the future of travel together.
About the role
Ventrata is excited to announce that we are searching for a Sales Manager to spearhead our expansion into the Resort & Integrated Property vertical. You aren't just selling software; you are architecting the future of how resorts package, sell, and manage the entire guest stay-connecting the "fun" to the "folio." Our product is changing the way tours and tickets are sold across the planet.
This rewarding new role will be integral to our growth trajectory. If you're excited about working in a fast-growth, scale-up environment with cutting-edge products that remove operational friction and maximize revenue opportunities in the leisure and tourism industries, then this is the role for you.
The role is remote and will be based in North America. For consideration, it's expected that you are based in and able to work during the office hours of the target region. Additionally, you will be traveling for prospective customer visits or to conferences and events.
Key Information
Location: US
Duration: Full-time
Must have: A proven track record in a related revenue-generating role within the ticketing or travel-tech industry. Preferably within the Resort and Leisure segment./Firsthand experience solving the pain points unique to large-scale resort properties.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Targets and Growth: Responsible for the delivery of net new business and client wins.
  • Deliver against business targets and objectives
  • Management of the sales process end-to-end in your assigned territory. Identifying opportunities in the market to position the product effectively and enhance the value proposition to your target market
  • Client Success and Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Ensuring that client success is integrated into the sales process from the first point of contact.
  • Collaboration with Sales Support Functions: Liaise with marketing, technical resources, and sales operations to ensure a unified and strategic sales approach.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyse regional market trends and discover new growth opportunities. Communicate closely with marketing and product management to create strategies to drive sales.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Provide timely revenue projections to management and deliver a predictable pipeline to drive forecast accuracy.

Requirements
  • A strong awareness of hotel and resort operations, as well as Property Management and Connectivity applications.
  • Can demonstrate a history of achieving quotas of $600k+ selling into enterprise markets within the travel/ticketing industry, with a focus on the enterprise resort and leisure segment.
  • Native English speaker or at least 5 years selling in native English-speaking markets (C1 as a minimum).
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus, not a requirement.
  • Must reside within the continental US or Canada.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly to potential client sites and trade shows.
  • Current passport and able to travel internationally infrequently.
  • SaaS-related and industry sales experience preferred.
  • Direct experience working within attractions in a sales role.
  • Sales account planning skills and the patience to deliver against the plan.
  • Display creative and analytical problem-solving skills with an unrelenting passion for achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be a self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and can manage their time and pipeline.

Benefits
  • We are fairly informal about working hours. We want to make sure you like your job and want to go an extra mile for us.
  • Unlimited paid holiday days.
  • WFH or work remotely.
  • Team buildings and company remote office. Sounds boring? The whole team met in Spain, South Africa, Italy, Portugal, and France.
  • Office in Brno and Lisbon. We have two office locations: the core team is located in Brno and we have one newly opened office in Lisbon. How does working for a month from Lisbon sound? :)
