Location: Remote within the contiguous US; employees should live within 50 miles of a major airport. Preferred states include AZ, CA, FL, GA, KS, MO, NJ, NC, OK, OR, PA, TN, WA. Additional states will be considered for the ideal candidate.

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Retail Media Strategist is a part of the MediaPilot team. The MediaPilot steers a brand's media strategy across Amazon's ecosystem. They manage campaigns across PPC, DSP, and AMC, turning insight into action that drives visibility, conversion, and customer value. MediaPilots ensure that every dollar invested in advertising is connected to the brand's broader growth objectives and supported by data intelligence.
The Senior MediaPilot will iInnovate marketing offerings and drive Amazon growth via on and off-AMZ marketing strategies by actively understanding the interconnectedness of tactics and how best to deliver on partner goals and increase Netrush revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead partnerships for managed ads accounts by understanding client goals, implementing PPC strategies to achieve goals. and effectively communicating clearly with partners on performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Tactical Skills:
  • Amazon PPC
    • Develop, execute, and continuously optimize Amazon Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns to maximize visibility, traffic, and conversions.
    • Conduct keyword research, bid management, and performance analysis to ensure campaigns meet defined KPIs such as ACOS, ROAS, and TACoS.
    • Collaborate with brand and product teams to align advertising strategies with overall sales goals and product positioning.
  • Sponsored Brand Video, Sponsored Brand, Sponsored Display, and Sponsored Product Campaigns
    • Plan and manage campaigns across all key Amazon ad types to drive full-funnel results - from awareness to conversion.
    • Create engaging Sponsored Brand Video content to increase click-through rates and improve brand storytelling.
    • Use Sponsored Display ads to retarget high-intent shoppers and expand brand reach.
    • Optimize Sponsored Product campaigns to enhance organic ranking and drive incremental sales.
  • Marketing Budgets & PPC Spend Strategy
    • Analyze partner objectives and category trends to propose strategic PPC budget allocations.
    • Monitor daily and monthly spend levels to ensure efficient use of funds and maximize ROI.
    • Develop forecast models and pacing reports to align advertising investment with business growth targets.
  • Retail Readiness
    • Demonstrate deep mastery of the Amazon growth formula and clearly communicate how off-Amazon levers influence overall performance.
    • Analyze and articulate the impact of supply chain dynamics on marketplace performance and revenue outcomes.
    • Develop and optimize catalog strategies that drive discoverability, conversion, and sustained sales growth.
    • Lead content and creative strategy efforts, ensuring high-impact assets that improve customer experience and performance metrics.
    • Evaluate performance marketing activities and translate results into actionable insights that improve profitability and P&L health.
  • Amazon DSP (Demand-Side Platform)
    • Demonstrate mastery of audience segmentation principles and data-driven targeting strategies.
    • Develop a deep understanding of contextual signals, demographic variables, and AMC audience insights to inform optimized marketing and performance strategies.
  • Amazon Attribution
    • Demonstrate mastery of core performance, marketplace, and marketing principles to drive informed decision-making.
    • Apply strong strategic thinking to understand business context and guide partners toward high-impact opportunities.
    • Provide clear strategic recommendations on traffic direction based on performance insights, channel efficiency, and business goals.
  • Omni Marketing Integration
    • Develop, refine, and present best-practice decks that educate teams and elevate execution quality.
    • Compile comprehensive audits, frameworks, and templates to support consistent, scalable operational excellence.
    • Create and maintain best-practice documentation that supports cross-functional enablement.
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC)
    • Leverage AMC dashboards to identify optimization opportunities and inform growth strategies.
    • Demonstrate mastery of analytics templates and standardized reporting tools to drive consistent insight generation.
      Write and run AMC SQL queries to extract deeper performance insights and support advanced audience analysis.
    • Build and manage AMC audiences to improve targeting precision and marketing efficiency.

Required Skills:

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Annual base salary range is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience and location
