About the Role

As a Director of Brand Marketing, you'll lead how the company comes to life across every consumer touchpoint.

You'll own the overall brand strategy while leading product launches, public relations, influencer marketing, partnerships, integrated campaigns, and brand storytelling. You'll work closely with our leadership team and partner across Creative, Product Development, Ecommerce, Growth, Retail, Social, and Community to ensure every initiative strengthens the brand and creates lasting connections with our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the long term brand marketing strategy
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, ecommerce, retail, influencer, social media, PR, partnerships, experiential marketing and community
  • Own every product launch from positioning and messaging through execution and post launch analysis
  • Develop compelling brand storytelling that strengthens consumer awareness, loyalty and brand affinity
  • Lead all public relations initiatives including media strategy, editorial relationships, product placement, celebrity partnerships and earned media opportunities
  • Build strategic relationships with influencers, creators, celebrities, tastemakers and brand ambassadors
  • Identify and execute brand collaborations that generate awareness, cultural relevance and customer acquisition
  • Partner with Creative to develop world class campaigns, visual storytelling, photography, videos, campaign concepts and content production
  • Lead seasonal marketing calendars, campaign planning and integrated go-to-market strategies
  • Partner closely with Ecommerce and Growth Marketing to ensure strong alignment between brand building and performance marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with Product Development to bring new product innovations to market
  • Measure brand performance through awareness, engagement, earned media, influencer performance, customer acquisition, retention and launch success
  • Manage external creative agencies, PR agencies, influencer agencies and production partners
  • Build scalable marketing processes that support rapid company growth
  • Represent the voice of the customer throughout the organization

Requirements

Must have:

  • 8 or more years of experience across Brand Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Brand Strategy, Marketing Communications, Public Relations and/or Consumer Marketing
  • Experience leading Brand Marketing for beauty, cosmetics, skincare, wellness, luxury consumer products, fashion, accessories, lifestyle or premium DTC brands
  • Proven success developing integrated marketing campaigns and high impact product launches
  • Strong experience in Brand Strategy, Marketing Communications, Creative Development, Public Relations and Influencer Marketing
  • Experience building relationships with editors, media outlets, creators, celebrities and industry partners
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights, brand positioning and customer journeys
  • Experience partnering with Creative, Product, Ecommerce, Social Media, Retail and Growth Marketing teams
  • Experience managing creative agencies, PR agencies and production partners
  • Strong project management and cross functional leadership skills
