Job Summary

Fresh Ideas is an innovative food service management company with higher education accounts across 19+ states. We are looking for a qualified Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. Food is our passion, but the guest experience is central to everything we do.
Our Senior Graphic Designer will be part of the creative force behind our dining program's branding, storytelling, and engagement strategies. They will lead innovative, student-centered marketing initiatives for our dynamic dining programs at multiple accounts. They excel at problem-solving, creative solutions, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently as well as cooperatively with the Marketing Team on the development and execution of marketing campaigns, events and promotions through data-driven strategy (social media analytics, engagement, retail sales, etc) to bring excitement and visibility to campus dining.
  • Further our marketing presence with compelling content and engaging storytelling across various mediums (digital signage, printed marketing, social media, etc).
  • Ensure all design assets, including logos and images, reflect Fresh Ideas' brand standards and deliver a consistent, top-tier guest experience.
  • Collaborate with Fresh Ideas dining team to gather the information necessary for accurate and effective content and designs
  • Develop strategic marketing plans for accounts by analyzing insights, past performance metrics and data sets to forecast, integrate and align with account goals.
  • Implement promotional materials and marketing collateral that inform and inspire.
  • Monitor performance, track results and insights, and continuously refine strategies to boost engagement and satisfaction.
  • Maintains digital files, filing for future or recurring content
  • Maintains a pulse on current design trends
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a related role
  • Must have a strong visual portfolio showcasing your best work and diverse samples
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications Technology, or related field.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite Design Programs (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator) and the primary Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Knowledge of content management systems, social media, and photography/photo editing
  • Video, animation software, Canva, or basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent writing skills
