Role Overview

Purple, Rock, Scissors is seeking a Senior Creative Director to shape and lead brand identity systems across digital, physical, and experiential touchpoints. This role is for a hands-on creative leader, someone who pairs rigorous strategic thinking with exceptional design execution.
You will define and evolve brand ecosystems from concept to launch, guiding work across identity systems, packaging, environments, social campaigns, and digital product brands. Working in close partnership with strategy, engineering, and client teams, you’ll translate ideas into cohesive, scalable experiences that resonate in the real world.
As a key creative force at PRPL, you will operate at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and design craft. You’ll mentor and inspire designers while actively contributing to the work, setting a high bar for creative excellence and originality.
The ideal candidate is energized by complexity, fluent in modern creative tools, including AI-assisted workflows, and deeply understands how brands grow, adapt, and perform across systems. You bring clarity to ambiguity and create work that is intentional, forward-looking, and meaningfully connected to business and culture.


What You’ll Lead

Brand Systems & Identity

  • Develop and direct brand identity systems from strategy to final execution
  • Create scalable visual frameworks across digital, print, environmental, and experiential touchpoints
  • Translate positioning and messaging into compelling visual language
  • Ensure consistency across multi-platform brand ecosystems

Hands-On Creative Execution

  • Own design end-to-end, from concept to final production-ready files and handoff
  • Create identity, typography, iconography, packaging, and presentation assets
  • Guide UI visual systems in partnership with product and UX teams
  • Support environmental and experiential brand design

Creative Strategy

  • Collaborate with strategists to align creative with business objectives
  • Participate in discovery, workshops, and stakeholder presentations
  • Shape creative narratives and visual storytelling

Photography & Video Direction

  • Define visual direction for brand photography and motion
  • Guide production teams to maintain brand integrity

AI-Enabled Creative Leadership

  • Integrate AI tools into creative workflows responsibly and effectively
  • Explore emerging creative technologies to improve speed and quality
  • Establish best practices for hybrid human/AI design processes

Team Leadership
