Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our compassionate team. This role allows for remote therapy sessions tailored to meet the needs of our diverse client base. This full-time role supports a flexible remote work environment, with the opportunity to facilitate both telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Tyler, Texas. Our facility is outpatient-focused, allowing for maximum accessibility to our clients. You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule while adhering to our commitment to providing comprehensive care within a supportive team atmosphere.

In your capacity as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the needs and history of clients.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that target trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental health.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster healing.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care.
• Providing crisis intervention during challenging situations and ensuring continuous support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, enabling them to navigate their experiences with understanding.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client progress while adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participating in case consultations and professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
• Staying informed on the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to provide clients with the best care possible.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, particularly focusing on those affected by trauma and mental health disorders. Our practice emphasizes accessibility to high-quality mental health services, ensuring that our clients have the support necessary to overcome challenges. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and strategies for building resilience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, ensuring a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology.
• A commitment to ethical practices and compliance in mental health care.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in therapeutic settings.
• Previous experience in trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR and TF-CBT.
• A willingness to work with couples and groups, with additional training provided.
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide:
