Job description

We are looking for a Scaffold Estimator who enjoys solving complex access challenges, working with cutting-edge design software, and collaborating with experienced sales, engineering, and operations teams. In this role, youll help develop scaffold solutions for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and turnaround projects while playing a key part in winning new business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with scaffold or construction estimating experience who wants to grow their technical expertise and make a visible impact on high-profile projects.

Monday-Friday 7:30am -4pm

Location: Remote (Nashville, TN area preferred)

What Youll Do
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, photos, and project scope requirements
  • Evaluate site conditions, access constraints, schedules, and project risks
  • Develop scaffold access solutions and preliminary designs
  • Create 2D drawings and 3D renderings using Avontus Designer
  • Generate material takeoffs and bills of material (BOMs)
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, including labor, equipment, freight, trucking, supervision, and engineering
  • Apply company pricing strategies and support margin objectives
  • Prepare professional proposal packages, including assumptions, exclusions, and qualifications
  • Partner with sales, operations, engineering, and construction teams to ensure estimates are practical and constructible
  • Respond to customer questions and provide technical clarification during the bidding process
  • Maintain estimating records, productivity data, and pricing history for future projects
What Were Looking For
  • Experience in scaffold, shoring, or construction estimating
  • Knowledge of scaffold systems, access solutions, and industry safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

  • Experience with Avontus Designer
  • Familiarity with SafQuote and Salesforce
  • Scaffold design and detailed material takeoff experience
  • Knowledge of labor productivity analysis and pricing strategies
  • Experience working closely with sales, operations, and engineering teams
