Position: Corporate Law Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $90–$100/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Construct corporate law scenarios for large-scale M&A transactions, multi-party deal negotiation, and complex corporate governance processes.
  • Build tasks across M&A, deal structuring, securities, capital markets, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and corporate restructuring.
  • Develop legal scenarios using tools like Westlaw, Lexis, virtual data rooms (Intralinks, Datasite), and contract lifecycle management platforms.
  • Apply corporate law methodologies to jurisdictional tracks (US: Delaware General Corporation Law, SEC rules; International: UK Companies Act 2006, EU company law directives).
  • Author rubrics that distinguish authentic corporate law judgment from generic law school or bar exam-level recall.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to create impactful legal evaluation tasks.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 5+ years working as a corporate attorney or general counsel at a major law firm, investment bank, or corporation.
