Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating group therapy sessions that encourage young adults to share experiences, build connections, and support one another in their mental health journeys.
  • Conducting individualized therapy sessions that focus on personal exploration, coping strategies, and action planning to guide clients towards their goals.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and aspirations.
  • Monitoring client progress and utilizing evidence-based assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Engaging in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care, share insights, and consult on complex cases to enhance team effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position specifically focuses on providing care to young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will work with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, offering both holistic and evidence-based treatment modalities. Your work will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve sustainable recovery and navigate life transitions with increased resilience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license is mandatory to practice.
Preferred Experience

While experience may vary, prior involvement in mental health treatment, especially with young adult populations, is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and collaborative care models will be considered an asset.
