Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Northbay Wellness Clinic, your daily responsibilities will center around providing high-quality mental health services. Your tasks will include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging and supportive group sessions designed to create connections among clients, enabling them to share experiences and learn from one another.
• Individual Therapy: Provide empathetic and personalized counseling that helps clients explore their thoughts and feelings, and develop essential coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
• Progress Monitoring: Evaluate and track clients' progress using various assessment tools and feedback methods, ensuring adjustments to their treatment plans as needed.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our dedicated team of professionals to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are undergoing treatment in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will support clients facing a range of mental health challenges, helping them cultivate resilience, inspire hope, and initiate their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Must hold a current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.
• Strong understanding of mental health assessment tools and therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience providing counseling services in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with young adults, particularly in subpopulations dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use, or trauma.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and holistic therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Licensed Professional Counselor position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually.
