Remote copywriters may work on-staff for a company or as independent contractors. Their specific tasks vary, depending on the type of organization and industry. But remote copywriters have the same job duties as an in-house copywriter; the only difference is that remote copywriters do not perform their job duties in the office. The primary responsibility of remote copywriters is to develop content that promotes a product or service or provides information to the targeted audience. They commonly use digital collaboration tools such as Slack, Trello, or Google Workspace to share drafts, gather feedback, and stay aligned with project timelines.
