Job description

Location: Mt. Sterling, IL

Department: Accounts Receivable

Reports To: AR Supervisor

Hourly Wage: $15.00- $21.10 per hour

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk (Part-Time & Temporary), you will be responsible for various billing activities, including accurately identifying supplier information to ensure deduction matching and some deduction processing responsibilities, or processing customer payments and applying them to their respective invoices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Index back up related to customer deductions.
  • Review and research information to accurately identify supplier ID’s.
  • Manage generic email boxes to ensure the timely filing of customer deduction info.
  • Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • General knowledge of accounting practices

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • Previous work in Accounts Receivable
  • Knowledge of general office equipment (Such as fax and copy machines)
  • Excellent 10 key and typing skills
  • Strong math skills

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Part Time: minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Temporary Employment: Expected term of employment to be approximately 3 months
  • Option to work fully remote, but must be available to come onsite for training
