Job description

Company Description
While this position is full-time remote, we're looking for candidates that live in the U.S. This is to facilitate communication and coordination with internal teams and clients.
Strategic smarts + technical expertise + artistic magic. Here, that's our not-so-secret sauce for cooking up marketing that doesn't just capture attention - it drives real business growth for our clients.
We support organizations across a wide range of industries, offering services including branding, web design/development, SEO, digital advertising, and content creation, where strategic consulting is a given. We serve as guides and advisors to clients, navigating them through the complexities of the digital landscape. Our Creative team also plays the crucial role of storytellers, bringing narratives to life that resonate with audiences and drive meaningful engagement.
At The Digital Ring, we describe ourselves as being "data-driven, human-focused"; while data and tech form the backbone of our marketing strategy, we never lose sight of the human element. Our approach is centered on understanding the needs, emotions, and aspirations of our audience, ensuring that every campaign resonates on a human level and fosters genuine connections with our clients and their customers.
Job Description
We're on the hunt for an experienced Senior Creative Lead with a strong background in concepting and creating compelling creative campaigns. As we continue growing our agency, we need a creative leader who will not only have a finger on the pulse of industry trends, but also possess the expertise to work across different mediums and platforms. We're looking for someone who can consistently generate super-creative ideas that 'wow' our clients, and execute them to perfection, driving impactful results for our growing services.
In this role, the Senior Creative Lead will demonstrate ownership over their work. We don't want someone who waits to be told what to do; we're looking for an individual with initiative - a true Creative, passionate about the art of ad design and eager to lead the charge in elevating our ad creative across the board. To be successful in this role, this individual must also be organized, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and a persuasive presenter. This position is client-facing; this individual will play a large role in "selling" ideas to clients: presenting their work, rationalizing how they got there, and explaining why the client should buy-in to their vision.
Other things this role entails:
  • Facilitating client "discovery" calls to learn about clients' organization, objectives, design preferences, and more
  • Conducting high-level research to understand our clients' competitors/market from a design perspective
  • Leading the creative concepting process to develop ideas for marketing campaigns
  • Leading the creative execution process, working with Copy to create ads across a variety of digital platforms
  • Designing additional marketing collateral as needed, including emails, landing pages, social media graphics, and print ads
  • Effectively "selling" work to clients with clear, compelling presentations that provide a creative rationale for design decisions
  • Guiding branding projects: recommending visual brand positioning (e.g. color, typography, and imagery), and designing logos, icons, and other brand assets
  • Leading by example in staying ahead of trends across the design and ad industries, ensuring the team benefits from the freshest perspectives and latest innovations

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of professional design experience, with a special focus on creating visual assets and designs for digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilization and exploration of emerging technologies including AI
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, developing graphics, animations, videos, and multimedia elements for online platforms
  • Experience tailoring designs for websites, social media, email marketing, and digital ads
  • The ability to collaborate with marketing teams and clients to conceptualize and execute creative strategies
  • The ability to drive engagement, conversions, and brand awareness in the digital space
  • A deep understanding of online user behavior and digital advertising platforms
  • Knowledge of best practices for digital content creation to optimize campaign performance
  • Strong organizational and time/workload management abilities to work across multiple projects efficiently
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to "sell" ideas persuasively to clients, showcasing creative vision and strategic thinking
  • Demonstrated experience in offering and receiving feedback constructively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team
