About the Role

The Performance Marketing Designer will play a central role in driving enrollment, talent acquisition, and audience growth through high-performing creative.We are looking for a designer who combines strong visual craft with a performance mindset - someone who understands how creative influences behavior and can use testing, audience insights, and data to improve results. The ideal candidate brings a blend of design excellence, marketing intuition, and analytical thinking. They can create compelling assets across channels while continually optimizing creative to improve engagement, conversion, and acquisition outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesPerformance Creative Development
  • Design and develop creative assets across paid social, display, search, email, web, video, and emerging digital channels.
  • Translate marketing objectives, audience insights, and campaign strategies into compelling visual concepts.
  • Create scalable creative systems and asset libraries that support campaign growth and efficiency.
  • Develop multiple creative variations to support testing and optimization efforts.
Creative Optimization
  • Partner with marketing and analytics teams to identify opportunities for creative improvement.
  • Apply performance insights, audience behavior, and campaign data to refine and evolve creative.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives through iterative design and rapid experimentation.
  • Help establish best practices for performance-focused creative development across the organization.
Digital Experience Design
  • Design landing pages, conversion experiences, and digital touchpoints that support recruitment and enrollment goals.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and marketers to improve user experience and campaign effectiveness.
  • Balance brand standards with performance objectives to maximize impact.
Creative Collaboration
  • Partner closely with copywriters, strategists, photographers, videographers, and marketers to develop integrated campaigns.
  • Contribute to concept development, campaign planning, production, and launch.
  • Present creative work and articulate the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Help raise the overall standard of creative excellence across the organization.
Qualifications

Required

  • 4-7 years of experience in performance marketing, digital design, advertising, growth marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative quality and measurable business impact.
  • Experience designing for paid social, digital advertising, email, web, and other performance marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Understanding of marketing funnels, audience targeting, testing methodologies, and conversion optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
  • Experience working on mission-driven, education, nonprofit, or consumer-facing brands.
  • Motion graphics, video editing, or animation experience.
  • Experience partnering closely with performance marketing or growth teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics and performance reporting tools.
