The main difference between a Remote Conversion Copywriter and a Remote Content Writer lies in their focus and goals. Conversion copywriters specialize in creating persuasive content aimed at driving sales and conversions, often working within marketing teams. Content writers produce a broader range of informational or brand-focused content without necessarily emphasizing immediate sales. Both roles require strong writing skills, but conversion copywriters typically have additional marketing knowledge and focus on measurable results.

How does a remote conversion copywriter typically collaborate with marketing and design teams to optimize campaign results?

As a remote conversion copywriter, you’ll regularly work alongside marketing strategists and designers through virtual meetings, project management tools, and shared documents. Collaboration often involves brainstorming messaging, aligning copy with visual assets, and iterating on drafts based on feedback to maximize conversion rates. Clear communication and adaptability are essential, as you’ll balance creative input from multiple stakeholders while meeting deadlines. This collaborative approach ensures that copy and design work together seamlessly to achieve campaign goals.

As we continue to expand across retail, ecommerce, and new product categories, we're looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our quickly scaling team.

  • Partner closely with Growth, Retention, Creative, Brand, Product, Retail, and Marketplace teams to translate business objectives into clear, engaging, and high-performing messaging.
  • Develop multiple creative copy variations to support ongoing testing and optimization across channels.
  • Analyze creative performance alongside cross-functional partners, helping turn insights into stronger messaging systems and scalable creative learnings.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all customer-facing communications while balancing creativity with business objectives and regulatory considerations.
  • Champion thoughtful use of AI tools to improve creative workflows, accelerate ideation, and increase operational efficiency without sacrificing quality or brand voice.
Who You Are:
  • 6+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within CPG, wellness, beauty, supplements, food & beverage, or other high-growth DTC brands.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both performance marketing copy and brand-building work.
  • Proven experience writing paid advertising, campaign messaging, video scripts, email and SMS, website copy, PDPs, product storytelling, and broader brand content.
  • Deep understanding of messaging that drives engagement and conversion across paid social, lifecycle marketing, ecommerce, Amazon, and retail channels.
  • Experience developing or contributing to brand voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, or brand refresh initiatives.
  • Excellent creative judgment with the ability to balance personality, clarity, compliance, and business performance.
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and comfortable owning projects independently while partnering across multiple teams.
  • Curiosity around AI and emerging creative tools, with a willingness to thoughtfully incorporate them into day-to-day workflows.
