Your role
As a Controls Engineer, your mission is to provide support to the controls and project teams. You will report to the Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer.
You will
  • Read and describe customer specs and incorporate them into designs
  • Lead technical discussions with customers and sub-vendors while providing accurate technical answers on engineering issues
  • Direct panel designs to internal systems
  • Understand and apply electrical industry standards (NEC, IEC, ATEX, UL, CSA, etc.) to compressor instrumentation and control systems
  • Conduct design review meetings to ensure the completeness and the accureacy of the control system deliverables and ensure designs comply with relevant work instructions and/or international standards
To succeed, you will need

You have at least 5 years of experience and can demonstrate:
  • Ability to run projects independently
  • Customer relations experience
  • Understanding of NEC
