This role operates within a climate-controlled, remote setting, allowing you to perform duties comfortably and efficiently from your home. Daily responsibilities will require active engagement with diverse team members and healthcare providers through virtual platforms. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ psychological statuses, utilizing tools from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to facilitate accurate diagnoses and care planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, ensuring that plans reflect cultural diversity and individual needs.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, providing tailored interventions and strategies that support mental health challenges and promote recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes, adhering to regulatory standards and departmental protocols.
• Coordinate with referral options and build effective working relationships with external clinicians and care providers to enhance continuity of care.
• Engage in educational initiatives by mentoring students and interns, sharing knowledge to foster the next generation of social work professionals.
• Participate in peer review and team development activities, contributing to the clinical growth and collaborative excellence of our healthcare workforce.

This role primarily serves individuals and families impacted by cancer diagnoses, addressing psychological and emotional needs related to this life-altering experience. The LICSW will work with diverse patients, acknowledging and integrating their cultural backgrounds into care plans. This focus not only enhances the therapeutic alliance but also informs effective treatment strategies that are sensitive to each patient’s unique circumstances.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A current State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

Although not required, prior experience working with cancer patients or in a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities and a track record of successful patient outcomes will be advantageous.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
