Job description

Controller - fully remote
 
We are working with a client to find a Controller to oversee their business in the USA and Canada, working remotely from Vancouver or LA.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, payments, and reconciliations
  • Manage bookkeeping and financial reporting 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and overall financial performance
  • Coordinate with external CPA partners on reporting, compliance, and year-end processes
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Develop and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial processes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and profitability
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of accounting or financial operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • CPA designation is an asset
  • Strong QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software skills
  • Solid knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Salary - 120-150,000 range depending on experience.
