In this remote role, you will work primarily from a climate-controlled home office, ensuring a conducive environment for conducting therapy sessions. Despite the virtual setting, regular engagement with department teams and other healthcare professionals will be facilitated through video conferencing and collaborative tools. You will remain connected to a supportive community of practitioners focused on delivering exceptional care.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients affected by cancer, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of your patients, continuously monitoring their progress and adjusting care strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and clinical documentation in accordance with departmental regulations, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and facilitating effective care coordination.
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to design comprehensive treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique challenges presented by a cancer diagnosis.
• Serve as a vital resource for connecting patients with additional support services, establishing strong relationships with external treatment providers, and optimizing referral pathways.
• Participate in the education and mentorship of interns, volunteers, and colleagues, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.
• Under the guidance of clinical supervisors, engage in peer reviews and team development initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and therapeutic outcomes.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

• Previous experience in oncology social work or mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and tools relevant to the cancer community will be advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 - 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
