• Conduct thorough assessments and when necessary, diagnoses of patients, guiding them towards creating individualized care plans that account for cultural diversity and specific needs.
• Use standardized assessment tools from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to monitor and evaluate patient progress, continually adapting strategies to support their mental health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and clinical documentation in adherence to regulatory standards and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to establish comprehensive treatment plans aimed at achieving desired health outcomes.
• As a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, actively participate in discussions and care coordination, recognizing and valuing the contributions of colleagues.
• Provide education and mentorship to students and interns, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Engage in peer-review and clinical collaboration under the guidance of clinical supervisors to foster an environment of continuous improvement among team members.

This role primarily serves individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses, requiring sensitivity and expertise in addressing the emotional and psychological impacts of such health challenges. You will work with a diverse clientele, each presenting unique backgrounds and needs, underscoring the importance of personalized care strategies that respect and honor cultural differences.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Must possess an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the State of California.

• Experience working within a hospice or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches for mental health care.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and provide clinical supervision to peers or interns.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
