We are looking for a Field Service Staff / Plant Manager for our for our Jenbacher Engine business, ideal work location in West Jordan, UT area.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead all operational aspects of powerhouse sites in line with contractual, environmental, and technical standards.
  • Supervise operations team including Operator Supervisors, Operators, Troubleshooters, Maintenance Technicians, Control Room Operators, and Work Preparators.
  • Maximize generation equipment availability and responsiveness to customer demand.
  • Implement best engineering practices and oversee spare parts inventory.
  • Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure timely maintenance of gas engines, balance of plant, and control systems.
  • Act as key contact for customer and internal management.
  • Lead, organize, motivate, and train site staff; conduct performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards; promote strong EHS culture.
  • Maintain high-quality operational records and prepare reports for management, customers, and regulators.
  • Manage customer expectations and attend regular performance review meetings.
  • Set and manage operational budget; track cost performance and approve procurement requests.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations; coordinate with Senior Contract Service Manager and Senior Staff Manager on commercial and technical matters.

Qualification Requirements:
  • Multiple years of experience in plant operations and maintenance management.
  • Technical background in reciprocating engines or power generation systems.
  • Experience with inventory and maintenance planning tools.
  • Familiarity with EHS and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of gas engine series of the Jenbacher products is a great plus
