Program Security Specialist
The Opportunity:
Security threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to government agencies. In all of this noise how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you, a Program Security Specialist who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.
As a Program Security Specialist on our team, you'll use your experience to work with classified missions to discover their risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You'll review technical and personnel details from SMEs and stakeholders to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you'll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.
You'll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their critical infrastructure. This is your opportunity to act as a Security SME while broadening your skills in government communications systems.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience working as a security professional in the DoD or intelligence community, including in SCI or SAP environments
  • Experience conducting day-to-day security analysis for SAP, SCI, and collateral data to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test training and operational activities
  • Experience developing critical program protection plans and writing and reviewing Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Operations Security (OPSEC) plans, and senior leader briefings
  • Experience performing facility compliance reviews, tracking corrective actions, and ensuring timely reporting of security matters
  • Experience conducting indoctrination training and briefings
  • Experience with DoDI 5205.11 and DoDM 5205.07
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Security Certification within 1 year of hire

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
