As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Long Beach Counseling Services, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans, integrating crisis intervention strategies and behavioral guidelines.
• Complete and submit all required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to inform treatment decisions and track client progress in collaboration with our clinical team.
• Engage actively with your colleagues to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans that advocate for client needs.
• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to all necessary standards and practices.
• Act as a vital liaison between clients and various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, facilitating seamless collaboration.
• Maintain proactive communication to meet contract standards, promoting Long Beach Counseling Services’ mission within the community.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to enhance our programs and explore new funding opportunities.
• Pursue continued professional development through conferences, training, and statewide committees relevant to mental health.
• Uphold the agency's mission, values, and philosophy in all interactions and responsibilities.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational objectives.
