Position Summary
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a seasoned Program/Project Manager III for a potential opportunity to lead the execution of a complex Department of Defense (DoD) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) contract. The successful candidate will provide overall program leadership, overseeing execution, acquisition planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and contract performance while serving as the primary interface with government customers and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead overall program execution to ensure successful contract performance.
  • Manage technical, financial, and schedule performance across the program.
  • Oversee acquisition planning and budget development activities.
  • Coordinate efforts between government and contractor stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Provide executive-level communications, program status updates, and reporting.
  • Drive successful delivery of program objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
  • Associate's degree in a technical or managerial discipline.
Certification
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification meeting one of the following:
    • Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II;
    • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II; or
    • Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II.
Professional Experience
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional program/project management experience.
  • At least 8 years managing technical programs.
  • At least 5 years managing programs involving DoD C4I systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Technology Assessments
    • Systems Design
    • Systems Analysis
    • Programmatic Support
    • Acquisition Planning
    • Budget Planning
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense procurement policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience managing U.S. Navy or NAVWAR contracts.
