Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager (Remote - Must live Local to Kansas or surrounding region) is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of projects across the region, with primary ownership of cost control and financial performance. This role provides leadership and oversight to Regional Project Managers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with Service Point quality and customer standards.
The Senior Project Manager serves as a key operational partner to the Regional Director, helping drive regional performance, consistency, and achievement of financial and customer objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution across the region, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
  • Drive accountability for project performance, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
  • Ensure consistent adherence to established project schedules and milestones
Cost Control & Financial Management
  • Maintain primary responsibility for project cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Partner with Engineering to develop accurate project estimates and budgets
  • Monitor project financials to ensure margin targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement corrective actions as needed
Leadership & Team Oversight
  • Provide direction, coaching, and oversight to all Regional Project Managers
  • Establish clear expectations and ensure alignment with operational standards and best practices
  • Support team development and performance management
Customer Satisfaction
  • Ensure positive customer outcomes across all projects
  • Act as an escalation point for key client issues, driving timely and effective resolution
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to support long-term partnership and growth
Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)
  • Enforce adherence to the Service Point QA/QC program across all projects
  • Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed company and client quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and execution
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in project management within structured cabling, data center, low voltage, or IT infrastructure environments, with demonstrated growth into leadership responsibilities
  • PMP certification
  • Proven track record of owning project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and margin optimization, with a strong understanding of how project-level decisions impact regional P&L
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and driving accountability across a team of Project Managers within a regional delivery model
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a key partner to Regional Directors, supporting execution of regional goals, operational consistency, and financial targets
  • Strong collaboration with Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop scalable scopes, estimates, and execution strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Hands-on operational expertise with the ability to connect field execution to broader organizational priorities and performance metrics
  • Experience managing multiple projects and teams across a geographic region, ensuring alignment to standardized processes and delivery expectations
  • Strong client management experience, with the ability to influence outcomes, manage escalations, and contribute to long-term account growth and retention
  • Proven ability to drive accountability, performance standards, and continuous improvement across project teams
  • Working knowledge of QA/QC programs, with experience enforcing quality standards and contributing to process improvement initiatives at a regional level
  • Proficiency in project and financial management tools, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making
  • Strong communication and leadership presence, with the ability to interface effectively with field teams, clients, and senior leadership
  • Ability to travel regionally to support team oversight, client engagement, and project execution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience contributing to regional operational strategy, resource planning, and workforce allocation
  • Background in contract management, including SOW development, change order management, and risk mitigation
  • Prior experience in a role with multi-site or regional operational responsibility
