Remote content writers often face challenges such as staying motivated without in-person supervision, managing multiple deadlines, and maintaining effective communication with editors and other team members. To overcome these, it’s important to establish a structured daily routine, regularly check in with your team via project management tools or video calls, and use productivity apps to track your progress. Actively seeking feedback and clarifying project expectations can also help prevent misunderstandings and improve the quality of your work. Supporting Belden's ongoing brand transformation, this role focuses on day-to-day brand execution and project management. The Specialist ensures brand alignment is consistently applied across the organization while serving as an accessible, solutions-oriented partner for brand-related needs.

You'll make a difference in the following ways:

  • Brand alignment and adherence: Champion brand standards across the company, empowering teams to apply the brand confidently, while helping manage and route brand-related requests to the appropriate resources.
  • Social media strategy: Support and contribute to Belden's social media strategy, ensuring content and presence reflect brand identity and messaging guidelines.
  • Campaign support: Support brand campaign planning and execution, advising internal teams on proper brand application and contributing to the development of campaign assets and communications.
  • Brand activation: Provide project management and execution support for brand-related activations, coordinating logistics, materials and brand standards to ensure cohesive experiences.
  • Brand merchandise shop: Manage Belden's internal merchandise store. Review items for brand compliance and develop internal communications and marketing to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Public relations support: Assist in the planning and execution of public relations activities, supporting media communications, press materials, and external announcements to ensure accuracy and consistent, on-brand messaging.
  • Content management: Develop and maintain brand content on company intranet, keeping information current, engaging and aligned with ongoing brand initiatives.
  • Budget and operations: Support day-to-day brand budget management, including purchase orders and invoicing coordination, to ensure accurate and timely processing.

What you bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in marketing, branding or corporate communications.
  • Project management: Skills and ability to execute, prioritize and establish processes to complete tasks.
  • Functional knowledge: Understanding of brand principles and marketing fundamentals, with the ability to apply them practically across a variety of channels and contexts.
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a natural collaborator who builds relationships across functions and levels.
  • Proactive mindset: Creative thinker with a solution-oriented approach; comfortable navigating ambiguity and finding practical paths forward.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to work cross-functionally and foster relationships with external agency partners.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $90,000 - $120,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

Belden also offers hybrid and remote work practices where feasible and provides employees with benefits that could include health/dental/vision, long term/short term disability, life insurance, HSA/FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, parental leave, employee stock purchase plan, paid leave for volunteer work in your community, training opportunities, professional talent management and succession planning, corporate health well-being initiatives and a work culture which includes commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and sustainability!
