Job description

About the Role
We're looking for a content writer who can own a high-volume monthly blog program for our SEO clients, primarily in the multifamily and housing space. This is not a role where you'll be handed a topic and left to guess. It's a role where you'll build a body of work, month over month, that tells a coherent story about each property we write for.
The current workload is 60 pieces of 800+ word content per month, and we expect that to grow. You should be comfortable working at that volume without sacrificing quality, so it's worth considering whether that pace suits the way you like to work.
To be clear about how that volume gets done: we expect you to use AI as part of your process. We're not asking you to write 48,000 words a month from a blank page. What we are asking for is the harder skill. AI drafts tend to arrive broad and a little generic, and they rarely carry the specific detail or voice a client's property deserves. Your job is to spot those gaps quickly and rewrite the draft into something that sounds like a person who knows the property wrote it. The writers who succeed in this role are excellent editors first. If you enjoy taking a serviceable draft and making it genuinely good, you'll do well here.
What You'll Do
  • Write and deliver 60+ monthly blog posts (800+ words each) for SEO clients
  • Write Google Business Profile posts and other short-form content as needed
  • Take on additional writing projects as they come up, since our client needs shift
  • Build month-to-month narrative continuity so a year of blogs for a single property reads as one connected story, not 12 disconnected articles
  • Differentiate content across a client portfolio. When 15 properties in the same city need a blog on the same topic, each one needs its own angle, structure, and detail set so no two read alike.
  • Apply SEO best practices to every piece: keyword intent, structure, internal linking, headers, meta descriptions
  • Use AI tools to generate first drafts at speed, then edit and rewrite them into content that reads as human, accurate, and specific to the client
  • Manage your own assignments and deadlines in Asana, and communicate proactively in Slack
  • Absorb editorial feedback and carry it forward so the same notes don't have to be given twice

What We're Looking For (required)
  • Command of the English language that holds up under scrutiny. Grammar, mechanics, rhythm, and word choice should be second nature, not something you fix in the last pass.
  • Demonstrated experience writing SEO-friendly content that ranks and reads well
  • Practical fluency with AI as a writing assistant, and more importantly, the editing skill to turn a rough AI draft into publishable work. Heavy rewriting, restructuring, fact-checking, and voice correction will be a daily part of the job.
  • The judgment to keep repetitive assignments from becoming repetitive content. You'll write the same topic many times over, and each version needs to stand on its own.
  • Genuine self-direction. We're fully remote, and nobody will be checking whether you started your day.
  • The ability to internalize feedback. We want a writer whose work in month six is noticeably better than month one because of the notes they've received.
  • Strategic thinking about content. You should be able to look at a client's property, audience, and goals and plan a run of blogs that builds toward something.

Nice to Have
  • Experience writing for multifamily, property management, real estate, or adjacent housing industries. This is a significant plus.
  • Familiarity with GEO (generative engine optimization) and how to structure content so it surfaces in AI-generated answers
  • Working knowledge of Asana and Slack. If you don't have it, we'll teach you. It's not a dealbreaker.

Please have your samples prepared before you apply so we can move quickly.
Expected Salary Range
  • $45,000-$55,000

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Primarily remote, with optional opportunities to collaborate in person at the Orlando, Florida office.
  • Up to two required in-person events per year.
  • Availability during core working hours as defined by their team and typically overlap with 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern time, unless otherwise defined by department leadership.
  • Primarily sedentary work in an office with minimal distractions.
  • Learn and memorize tasks; execute tasks independently; apply knowledge and use judgment to handle situations.
  • Occasionally exert up to 5 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise utilize and move standard office equipment and objects. When attending conferences or other events, occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise utilize and move objects.
  • Perform repetitive motions; substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers for computer keyboard operation.
  • Use near visual acuity to operate a computer, read, and prepare documents.
  • Speak and hear to communicate with team members and clients primarily by video conference.
