Leap Event Technology is looking for an experienced SEO & Content Strategist to join our Digital Marketing team. This role combines SEO strategy, technical optimization, content strategy, writing, and performance analysis to grow organic visibility and help audiences discover our brands across traditional and AI-powered search.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, analyst, and storyteller. You understand how people search, how AI is changing discovery, and how to turn audience and performance insights into content that attracts, engages, and converts. You will work across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Design to develop high-quality content, improve search performance, and identify new opportunities for organic growth.

Sounds interesting? Let's talk.

AS AN SEO & CONTENT STRATEGIST, YOU WILL:

  • Create, edit, and optimize high-quality content across landing pages, blogs, resource guides, case studies, website copy, email, sales enablement, and product marketing initiatives.
  • Optimize website architecture, metadata, internal linking, on-page content, and other technical SEO elements to improve search visibility and user experience.
  • Monitor organic traffic, rankings, engagement, conversions, and revenue, translating performance data into actionable recommendations and ongoing optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Sales, Customer Success, Paid Media, and other Marketing team members to integrate SEO and content strategy into campaigns, launches, website initiatives, webinars, and events.
  • Stay ahead of changes in search, including Google algorithm updates, AI search experiences, AEO, GEO, LLM discoverability, generative AI, and emerging SEO and content marketing practices.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, digital content strategy, or a related digital marketing discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword research, search intent, competitive analysis, and content strategy.
  • Experience using SEO platforms such as SE Ranking, Semrush, Ahrefs, or Moz, as well as technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog or Sitebulb.
  • Experience optimizing for traditional and AI-powered search, including Google AI Overviews, AEO, GEO, and LLM discoverability, and using AI search tracking and optimization tools to measure visibility and performance.
  • Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and similar analytics tools to measure organic search, content, conversion, and business performance.
  • Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude to support research, content development, analysis, optimization, and marketing workflows.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience creating high-quality, search-optimized content across multiple formats and experience working in WordPress or a similar CMS.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to changing search technologies and business needs.
