About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled writer and AI-powered content marketer to own content strategy and execution across FMG.
This role sits at the intersection of content marketing, integrated campaign strategy, SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), website strategy, and social media. You'll be responsible for developing the messaging and content that power our marketing campaigns - from webinars to lead generation campaigns, thought leadership, and executive visibility.
You'll create and execute integrated content programs spanning long-form guides, webinars, email content, website copy, social campaigns, and AI-search-optimized resources. Working closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Design, and Leadership, you'll ensure every campaign is supported by compelling content that drives awareness, engagement, and business growth.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves writing, simplifying complex ideas, building integrated content campaigns, and leveraging AI to create more content, faster and better. The ideal candidate is equal parts content strategist, editor, SEO/AEO writer, and social media marketer.
Compensation This position offers $80,000/per year
Primary Responsibilities & Expectations
Content Strategy & Content Creation
  • Own content strategy across FMG ensuring content aligns with business priorities, campaign initiatives, and customer needs.
  • Develop high-impact long-form and short-form content including guides, checklists, playbooks, interactive tools, blogs, email content, landing pages, and thought leadership articles.
  • Translate complex marketing concepts into practical, easy-to-understand content that drives engagement and action.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose, refresh, and extend content across channels and audiences.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, drafting, editing, content repurposing, and workflow efficiency.

Integrated Campaign Content
  • Partner with Revenue and Product Marketing to develop the messaging and content strategy behind integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
  • Own the content and creative strategy for webinars, lead generation campaigns, and major marketing initiatives.
  • Develop campaign messaging frameworks and supporting assets including landing page copy, email copy, webinars, presentation content, downloadable resources, nurture content, sales enablement materials, and post-campaign content.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaigns deliver a consistent story and experience across every touchpoint.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to extend campaign value by repurposing webinars, events, and thought leadership into blogs, videos, social content, guides, and AI-search-optimized resources.

Website Content, SEO & AEO
  • Own website copy across FMG and Agency Revolution.
  • Write and optimize web pages, blogs, resource content, and landing pages using SEO and AEO best practices.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and implement content based on keyword strategies, AEO/SEO recommendations, and search insights.
  • Develop content specifically designed to improve visibility in AI-powered search experiences such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude, and other emerging discovery channels.
  • Continuously audit and improve website content for relevance, conversion, and search performance.
  • Maintain customer stories, testimonials, and proof points across key web properties.

Social Media & Audience Engagement
  • Own social content strategy and execution across FMG and Agency Revolution.
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Product Marketing to transform campaigns, webinars, product launches, customer stories, and industry trends into engaging social content.
  • Manage content calendars, publishing schedules, and content distribution.
  • Develop social-first content including: LinkedIn posts, short-form videos, carousels, graphics, and executive thought leadership content.
  • Manage and grow FMG/AR's LinkedIn presence, including planning, promoting, and executing LinkedIn Live events in partnership with internal subject matter experts and guest speakers.
  • Develop and manage FMG/AR's community engagement strategy across platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, and other emerging channels. Monitor industry conversations, participate in relevant discussions, respond to community questions, and surface insights that inform content strategy, SEO, and AEO initiatives.
  • Manage and grow FMG's YouTube presence, including video publishing, optimization, playlist strategy, audience engagement, and the repurposing of webinars, events, and thought leadership content to expand reach and visibility.
  • Monitor social and community performance metrics and identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach, audience growth, and brand visibility.
  • Support executive social presence, including content development and engagement for key company leaders.

Thought Leadership & Brand Content
  • Write newsletters, byline articles, industry commentary, and executive thought leadership content.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to turn expertise into compelling content that builds brand authority.
  • Lead webinar content development from concept through execution, including topic ideation, messaging, speaker preparation, presentation development, promotional copy, post-event content, and long-form content repurposing.

Content Operations & Quality
  • Maintain a scalable content library and governance process.
  • Ensure all content remains current, accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Stay informed on trends, news, regulatory developments, and emerging topics within the financial services and insurance industries to ensure content remains timely, relevant, and valuable to target audiences.
  • Serve as a final editorial reviewer for major marketing assets, ensuring quality, consistency, and clarity.
  • Track content performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement, search visibility, and business impact.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience creating content for financial services, wealth management, insurance or fintech is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, compelling content.
  • Strong understanding of campaign messaging and the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling content across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of SEO content strategy and modern search best practices.
  • Experience in creating content for AI-powered search environments and emerging AEO strategies.
  • Proven ability to write across multiple formats, including website copy, blogs, guides, social media, email campaigns, and thought leadership content.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve content creation, research, editing, and productivity.
  • Strong understanding of social media content strategy and audience engagement.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms, content management systems, and marketing technology tools.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
