Come Behind the Steam: About Nori 🧺💙

Nori is a clothing care brand reinventing the way consumers care for their wardrobe. Our hero product, the Nori Press, brought innovation to the laundry aisle, and now we're expanding our product ecosystem to deliver more efficient, branded, and beautiful solutions for everyday clothing care.

As a digitally-native brand now available in 1,800+ Target stores nationwide, Nori is at the forefront of modernizing a category long dominated by legacy players. We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator to help tell the next chapter of our story. Reporting directly to the Head of Brand, you'll concept, create, and publish compelling content across organic and paid social, helping grow our community while introducing millions of consumers to Nori. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role with meaningful ownership from day one, ideal for someone who loves making content, has a pulse on internet culture, and is excited to help build a fast-growing consumer brand.
Location: Remote (U.S. based, Boston or New York City preferred)

What You’ll Do: The Roles and Responsibilities:
Organic Social & Content Creation (~60%)

  • Concept, shoot, edit, and publish social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
  • Create engaging short-form video using iPhone, CapCut, Canva, and other creator tools.
  • Develop recurring content series, founder storytelling, reactive content, and trend-driven concepts that feel native to each platform.
  • Adapt product launches, retail partnerships, PR moments, and larger marketing campaigns into compelling social-first content.
  • Assist in maintaining Nori's social content calendar and publishing cadence across channels.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, creator movements, and cultural moments, proactively bringing fresh ideas to the team.
  • Confidently appear on camera as a relatable face of the Nori brand.
Paid Creative & Performance Marketing (~30%)
  • Source, organize, and edit creative assets for Meta and TikTok advertising campaigns.
  • Identify high-performing hooks, trends, and content formats that can be translated into paid creative.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new ad concepts and creative testing ideas.
  • Research high-performing creative across Meta, TikTok, and competitor brands to uncover new opportunities for Nori.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions focused on driving revenue through performance marketing.
Community Management & Brand Support (~10%)
  • Support day-to-day community management by responding to comments and direct messages in Nori's brand voice.
  • Foster meaningful engagement with customers, creators, and our growing online community.
  • Track content performance and assist with weekly and monthly social reporting.
  • Support product launches, retailer activations, influencer events, and other cross-functional marketing initiatives.
What You'll Need:
  • 1-2+ years of experience in content creation, social media, or a related marketing role.
  • A content creator first: your portfolio showcases social content you've personally concepted, created, edited, and published.
  • Comfortable both behind the camera and in front of it, serving as a relatable face of the Nori brand.
  • Deeply plugged into internet culture, social trends, creators, and emerging platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social platforms.
  • Fluent in content creation and editing tools including CapCut, Canva, and native platform editing tools.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills and an instinct for creating content that feels authentic, engaging, and native to each platform.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple creative priorities simultaneously.
  • A proactive self-starter who brings ideas to the table instead of waiting for direction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and excited to wear multiple hats as the company grows.

Bonus: Experience working with influencers or creators, familiarity with Meta and TikTok advertising, photography or videography experience, and/or a personal social presence that demonstrates your ability to build engaging content.

Pressing Forward: What We Offer:
  • This is a contract-to-hire position, with the goal of converting to a full-time employee.
  • Flexible remote work with a one-time home office setup stipend ($300)
  • Generous PTO and parental leave, including 14 weeks maternity leave
  • A front-row seat at one of the most exciting brands redefining the future of wardrobe care

Portfolio Required: We'll ask finalists to share a portfolio, social handles, or examples of content they've personally created, edited, and published.
