Location: Remote (Washington, DC Area)

Description: 

FEHRM CommunicationsSupport Project Manager must have experience managing Information Technologyrelated projects. Must be well versed in life cycle and project managementmethodologies.  Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule, andperformance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.

Support a variety ofcommunications activities on behalf of the Federal Electronic Health RecordsModernization (FEHRM) office. Develop briefings, templates, talking points andmaterials to enhance the communications activities of the organization. Writeand edit content and act as a reviewer of artifacts to ensure alignment withquality standards and FEHRM messaging. Provide support to FEHRM team activitiesto enhance efficiency of processes, the clarity of communications and deliveryof quality content. Measure and evaluate success of communications strategies.Collaborate with a blended team of communications and government affairssupport staff to ensure alignment in messaging across audiences and artifacts.Assist subject matter experts in translating complex topics into clear,approachable language that resonates with stakeholders.


Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years ofprofessional work experience
  • Experiencemanaging and/or writing about Information Technology related projects
  • Must be wellversed in managing a project through the life cycle from ideation throughexecution
  • Experiencetracking and reporting schedule and performance progress and able to identifyand mitigate risks
  • Significantexperience delivering a variety of communication tactics and strategies
  • Strong writer ina variety of communication tactics with above average AP editing skills
  • Ability to traveloccasionally to support clients at conferences
  • Bachelor's degreein Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or relatedscientific/technical discipline, or 8 years of additional relevant experiencemay be substituted in lieu of degree
