Job Title: Business Processes Sr. Consultant

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Work Model: Hybrid Work Model

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Sr. Consultant at our Alpharetta, CA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Map business processes to solution requirements. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid) while applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific Lines of Business or industries. Support pre-sales activities. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support escalated projects. Take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content, and experience. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas. Serve as an owner of a service and support updates to the portfolio. Support in solution testing and issue resolution. Mentor business process consultants.

 

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:

  • Delivering SAP Sales and Distribution Order-to-cash (SAP SD/OTC) solutions through all project phases including preparation, design, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects;
  • SAP Activate Implementation Methodology;
  • SAP Cloud Strategy - Public Cloud and Private Cloud; and
  • Delivering SAP solutions in a remote or onsite resource model.

Travel: Position requires up to 40% domestic travel to implement SAP solutions at customer sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $131,498 - $171,700. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $131,498 - $202,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
