Job description

Description
We're not looking for someone to "create content." We're hiring someone to build and run an AI-native content system that makes content a competitive advantage. You will own what we publish across long form, social, and video, and how it reaches the market.
Content is the asset. Distribution is the advantage. Social channels, executive visibility, and real-time content tied to market moments are central to how we operate.
This role directly shapes how we show up in the market and how buyers understand our category. You will be both a hands-on creator and a systems builder, turning ideas into a consistent, high-impact presence that influences real buying decisions. You will partner closely with product marketing, marketing programs, and sales.
This is a broad, hands-on individual contributor role with the opportunity to grow the function over time. You will not scale everything alone, but you will define the systems and approach that scale.
Success in this role looks like a consistent publishing cadence, growing executive reach, strong engagement across channels, and measurable contribution to pipeline and influence on sales conversations.
What You Will Own
Strategy and Narrative
  • Define and evolve the content strategy across the full customer journey. Translate core company narratives into a clear and actionable publishing plan across blog, video, and social channels.
  • Stay close to target segments and continuously refine personas and positioning to keep messaging sharp and relevant.
  • Partner with leadership to shape thought leadership and market positioning.

Content Production
  • Plan, create, and ship content across formats including pillar content, blogs, executive bylines, video, and sales assets.
  • Own the editorial calendar, ensuring clarity on priorities, timing, and alignment to broader campaigns.
  • Build AI-native workflows that accelerate production and enable one idea to scale across multiple formats such as video, social content, email, and sales narratives.
  • Operate with a high velocity mindset, moving quickly from idea to published content without sacrificing quality.

Distribution, Visibility, and Audience Engagement
  • Own the company's presence on LinkedIn, X, and emerging platforms as primary distribution channels.
  • Ensure high-performing content reaches the right audience at the right time by selecting the right channels, formats, and moments, and adapting messaging based on engagement and platform behavior.
  • Build and run an executive visibility program, including ghostwriting and narrative development that positions leaders as credible voices in the market.
  • Translate product launches, company news, and industry moments into timely content that reinforces core narratives.
  • Drive co-marketing and partner opportunities such as guest content, joint research, and podcasts to extend reach and influence.
  • Proactively identify and build presence in new channels and forums, including CISO communities, practitioner groups, and partner ecosystems, adapting content to fit each environment and expand reach into new audiences.
  • Actively engage with customers, partners, and sales to ensure content is grounded in real conversations and reaches the right audiences through the right channels.

Video and Multimedia
  • Lead the shift toward video-first storytelling.
  • Create and edit short form video across explainers, talking head content, social clips, and event highlights.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate scripting, editing, captioning, and content reuse.

Performance and Experimentation
  • Own performance metrics including engagement, traffic, conversions, and influenced pipeline.
  • Run continuous experiments across formats, messaging, and channels.
  • Scale what works into repeatable playbooks, discontinue what does not.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or digital media with significant time in B2B technology
  • Exceptional writing ability across long form content, social media, and executive voice
  • Deep hands-on experience using large language models such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini as a core part of daily work
  • Ability to clearly explain prompting approaches, workflows you have built, where models fall short, and how you ensure brand voice and accuracy at scale
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, highly visible role where content directly influences how the company is perceived in the market
  • Willingness to be highly visible internally and externally, actively engaging with customers, partners, and sales through content, social channels, and events
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for industry events, trade shows, customer engagements, and user groups to support content, build relationships, and amplify market presence
  • Working knowledge of AI-driven video tools such as Descript, Opus Clip, Runway, ElevenLabs, Submagic, or Captions
  • Comfort with AI image and design tools such as Midjourney, DALL E, or Adobe Firefly
  • Strong understanding of search fundamentals and how AI-generated content impacts discovery
  • Experience with content management systems such as HubSpot, WordPress, or Saleshood and familiarity with email platforms
  • Experience creating or directing video content for digital channels
  • Proven track record of growing LinkedIn and X as content distribution channels
  • A systems builder mindset with experience creating repeatable, scalable content engines
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a bias for execution and experimentation
  • Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or network domains
  • Experience supporting executives or founders as public voices
