What does a remote contact tracer do?

A typical day for a Remote Contact Tracer involves reaching out to individuals who have been identified as contacts of someone diagnosed with an infectious disease, mainly via phone or secure online platforms. You will collect relevant information, provide guidance on quarantine protocols, and answer questions about the disease or public health resources. Collaboration with supervisors and other team members is common, especially for complex cases or follow-ups.
