This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility and comfort while engaging with clients through telehealth platforms. You will work from your home office, utilizing video conferencing tools to deliver therapy and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate treatment pathways.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client, focusing on recovery and resilience-building.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing process.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, applying best practices to help clients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention support during acute trauma situations, offering timely guidance and strategies for management.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available for ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Commit to continuous learning by engaging with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance your practice.

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. Your role is vital in creating a safe space where they can explore their feelings, build resilience, and regain control of their lives.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment models.
• Proven experience implementing trauma-focused therapies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress environments.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential.
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
