Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Data & Financial Analytics Consultant to support a federal agency with data analytics, financial analysis, forecasting, performance measurement, and executive-level reporting.

The consultant will transform complex financial and operational data into actionable insights and develop dashboards, reports, and analytical products to support Government decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, cleanse, validate, reconcile, and organize complex datasets.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Use advanced Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, modeling, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics and conduct trend analysis.
  • Perform forecasting, predictive analysis, financial analysis, and O&M budget analysis.
  • Support investment, cost-efficiency, water-resource, outage, and alarm-management analysis.
  • Develop acquisition performance metrics and reporting mechanisms.
  • Identify data trends, risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Develop executive-level dashboards, reports, briefings, and fully editable Government deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders and use Microsoft SharePoint and Teams as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Approximately 5โ€“7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Federal government experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong hands-on Power BI dashboard development experience.
  • Microsoft SharePoint and Teams experience.
  • Experience with data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or cost analysis.
  • Experience developing KPIs, performance metrics, and data visualizations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with O&M financial analysis, investment analysis, predictive analytics, or operational data.
  • Power BI or related certification.
