What is a remote computer?

A remote computer job is a position that involves working primarily with computers, such as programming, IT support, or data analysis, from a location outside of a traditional office—often from home or another remote setting. They offer flexibility in work location and sometimes hours, making them appealing for work-life balance. Common remote computer jobs include software development, tech support, and cybersecurity analysis.
