Position Overview:

The Senior Systems Analyst (Yardi) will be the subject matter expert for the Real Estate focused Yardi modules, and will work with end users to understand requirements and develop solutions using a variety of tools and techniques. The duties include but are not limited to application administration, custom query and report creation, end-user support, training, troubleshooting, and documenting the business process and procedures.

For candidates outside San Diego and surrounding counties remote working options may be available.Candidates must be able to work West Coast/Pacific Time zone hours. For candidates based in our San Diego headquarters this is a hybrid position, Monday through Thursday are in-office for collaboration, with the opportunity to work remotely on Friday.

Position Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise

  • Use in-depth knowledge and skills in Microsoft SQL Server, and relative systems to perform a full range of SQL queries.
  • Apply Yardi schema knowledge and SQL skills, to create SQL packages to fix Yardi data discrepancies.
  • Apply your experience in supporting Yardi or other ERP systems to decipher errors and find solutions.
  • Use your understanding of ERP systems to create & modify tables, views, and reports as needed.
  • Familiarity with Yardi YSR Reporting is a Plus.

Yardi Administration & Support

  • Troubleshoot Yardi application issues and escalate to senior staff or vendors when necessary.
  • Provide frontline support for tier 1 and 2 support requests via our helpdesk system related to Yardi and Yardi integrations.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing requirements, adhering to SOX audit controls and defined access request/new hire provisioning processes.
  • Monitor system stability to ensure a high level of reliability and provide technical guidance to identify system deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze application feature requests and propose solutions with both customers and vendors.
  • Assist in coordinating Yardi enhancements, upgrades, patches, and testing according to established change management processes.
  • Notify management of project risks and impediments and collaborate with team members to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Create SQL queries and custom reports based on business reporting requirements.
  • Administer various Yardi products such as YardiOne, Elevate, and Voyager, ensuring proper setup and integration.
  • Candidates must be able to work West Coast/Pacific Time zone hours.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate is typically expected to have:

  • 5+ years of business application experience or Information Technology and familiarity with current business analysis principles and practices
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager 7 or 8; specifically for Commercial Real Estate.
  • Yardi report writing and database schema expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead solutions that solve business problems and influence team approaches.
  • Experience planning and managing the orderly implementation of system changes.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL queries.
  • In-Depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Experience supporting international expansion within the Yardi platform
  • ERP system implementation and ongoing support experience
  • Background in Commercial Real Estate or the REIT industry
  • Familiarity with SaaS integrations, including SharePoint Online
  • ITIL and/or PMP certification preferred

The salary range for the position is $111,184 - $140,866 - $172,343.

Offers near the high end are uncommon but may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience and skills and are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An annual pay rate and total compensation package is generally determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
