What We Do
The Senior Functional Analyst is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing enterprise business applications that enable critical corporate functions including Finance, Procurement, Tax, Corporate Real Estate, Board Management, Document Management, and Electronic Signature solutions.
This role serves as a strategic partner between business stakeholders, technology teams, software vendors, Information Security, and Audit partners to ensure applications effectively support business objectives while meeting compliance and governance requirements. The Senior Functional Analyst leads requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support activities across a portfolio of SaaS and enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate possesses strong functional analysis, product management, business process optimization, and enterprise application support experience, with the ability to quickly learn and support new platforms as business needs evolve.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Enterprise Application Support
  • Provide functional support for a portfolio of enterprise applications, including Oracle Financials, Coupa, CoStar, OneSource, Diligent Boards, eSignature platforms, and other corporate SaaS solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve application issues while coordinating with internal technical teams and software vendors.
  • Manage application configurations, security roles, workflows, and business rules.

Business Analysis & Solution Delivery
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and process challenges.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional solutions.
  • Develop functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and solution documentation.
  • Coordinate testing activities including test planning, execution, defect management, and UAT.

Product & Application Management
  • Act as a functional product owner for assigned applications.
  • Manage enhancement backlogs and application roadmaps.
  • Evaluate vendor releases and recommend adoption strategies.
  • Participate in vendor relationship management and product evaluations.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Partner with Information Security, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Compliance teams.
  • Support periodic audits through documentation, control evidence, and subject matter expertise.
  • Participate in security reviews, access governance activities, and application risk assessments.
  • Support user access reviews and Segregation of Duties (SoD) assessments.
  • Help remediate audit findings, control gaps, and compliance risks.

Continuous Improvement
  • Drive process improvement initiatives through effective use of technology.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • 7+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Enterprise Applications Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS and cloud applications in a corporate environment.
  • Proven success leading application implementations, enhancements, and business process improvement initiatives.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering and documentation, business process analysis/mapping, and functional solution design.
  • Experience with testing activities, including test case creation, execution, defect management, and UAT coordination.
  • Strong background in change management, stakeholder communication, and application lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of financial/accounting principles and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience supporting Oracle Financials, Coupa, and/or Optra.
  • Product Management or Product Owner experience in Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, SQL, and data analysis.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and software vendor management.
  • Familiarity with SOX, audit, security, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to partner with Information Security, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance teams.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance analysis, and support business objectives.

Pay Range: $112,400.00 - $149,800.00 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
