As a remote-based mental health counselor, you will work from home, providing you with flexibility while connecting with clients via telehealth platforms. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team, allowing for easy communication and support from colleagues including psychologists, therapists, and administrative staff. Regular virtual meetings and training sessions help maintain a consistent flow of information and ensure high-quality care delivery.

• Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's needs.

• Utilize measurement-based care methodologies to inform treatment planning, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize client outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary care team, including other therapists, coaches, and psychiatrists, to provide comprehensive support.

• Contribute to the development and refinement of program curricula, ensuring that the therapeutic offerings remain relevant and effective.

• Assess and provide feedback on the application of technology in treatment delivery, enhancing client engagement and satisfaction.

• Remain vigilant regarding risk management issues, documenting incidents promptly and following organizational protocols.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all client interactions and treatment outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to evidence-based and technology-enhanced care delivery methods.

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, with a focus on those experiencing anxiety and related disorders, particularly among children and adolescents. You will employ proven treatment modalities to address the unique challenges faced by each client, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere conducive to healing and personal growth.

• Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a full and independent LPCC license to practice in California.

• Proven proficiency in various counseling methodologies, with a strong emphasis on delivering evidence-based treatments.

• A robust background in treating children and adolescents with anxiety and related disorders.

• Basic computer skills and comfort with telehealth platforms; openness to adopting new technologies to enhance client care.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on interpersonal effectiveness.

• A commitment to cultural competency and responsiveness to diversity and inclusion in clinical practice.

• Two years of direct counseling experience, ideally within community mental health settings.

• Training in delivering specific evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Heartford Mental Health Solutions offers a competitive annual salary ranging between $90,000 and $110,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
