Job description

We are currently looking for a Proposal Solutions Architect for a 100% remote position supporting VetsEZ's Growth organization. This role leads technical solutioning, proposal strategy, and technical volume development for HHS and federal healthcare opportunities. The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing winning technical solutions for federal healthcare agencies and supporting capture efforts from opportunity shaping through proposal submission.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities
  • Lead technical solution development for HHS and federal healthcare opportunities.
  • Partner with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal teams to develop competitive technical strategies.
  • Author technical proposal volumes, executive summaries, management approaches, and solution narratives.
  • Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and translate complex technical concepts into clear, compliant, and persuasive proposal content.
  • Develop solution architectures, implementation approaches, staffing strategies, and transition plans.
  • Participate in proposal reviews, customer solution sessions, and capture activities.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience designing enterprise IT solutions for federal healthcare or civilian government programs.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting capture, proposal development, technical solutioning, and technical volume writing.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting HHS agencies (e.g., CMS, NIH, CDC, FDA) or other federal civilian healthcare organizations through technical solutioning, capture, and proposal development.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud, application modernization, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data management, and AI technologies.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills.

Additional Qualifications
  • Experience leading technical solutioning on winning HHS proposals.
  • Strong understanding of Shipley Proposal Methodology.
  • Experience with Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
