Job Summaryย 

The Data Science team at PatientPoint works on business problems across the enterprise, such as provider growth, pricing, operations, marketing, campaign measurement, and customer attrition.As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work on these problems by creating data products that synthesize available data into useful predictions, enable manual processes to be automated, and provide digestible information for human-in-the-loop decisions.ย 

WhatYou'llDoย 

  • In this role,ย you'llย work with a cross-functional team toย advanceย algorithmicย pricing across the business. ย 
  • To maximize impact,ย you'llย iteratively design a system thatย establishesย foundational signals of supply,ย demand,ย willingness-to-pay, and expected ROI andย dynamicallyย adjusts towardsย optimalย pricesย under changing conditions.ย 
  • You'll build interpretability into the system, so that quoted prices are explainable, price changes have clear drivers, and pricing exception decisions are consistently actioned.ย 
  • To be successful,ย you'llย need to develop a deep understanding of the goals and constraints of campaigns and leverage machine learning,ย statistical modeling,ย and optimization methods to consistently deliver impactful results for clients. ย 
  • As an experienced subject matter expert in this space, you'll also mentor and coach less experienced data science team members as they continue to develop their skills.ย 

What We Needย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Appliedย Statistics, Computer Science,Economics,ย Operations Research, Business Analytics, InformationSystemsorย a related field.ย 
  • 6+ years of related data science experience developing data products, deploying models to production, and delivering analyses to internal and external stakeholders.ย ย 
  • Candidates will be asked to provide examples fromย theirpreviousexperienceand/or complete aprojectusing analytics to create actionable insights.ย 
  • Fluency in Python and SQL, with end-to-end data stack experience including manipulation, analysis, visualization, model deployment, and pipeline orchestration.ย 
  • Advanced knowledge and competency of machine learning and data science methods including predictive modeling, model validation and selection, network analysis, price elasticity estimation, optimization under constraints, etc.ย 
  • Experience promoting models through the lifecycle and monitoring model performance.ย 
  • Strong communicationskills and a collaborative attitude for working with stakeholders.ย 

Desired Qualificationsย 

  • Mastersย or doctoral degree inApplied Statistics, Computer Science,Economics,ย Operations Research, Business Analytics, InformationSystemsorย a relatedย field.ย 
  • Professional experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical,value-based pricing,ย B2B pricing,ย and digital advertising industries.ย 
  • Experience with Snowflake, Cursor, Airflow, HEX, Gurobi.ย

Base Salary Band: $143,374 - $210,544
